Saving Pace stores your savings goals in your own browser. They are not sent to us, we cannot see them, and they are never sold or shared.

When you create a goal, Saving Pace saves what you enter: the goal name, the emoji and colour you pick, the target amount, the amount you have saved, your monthly amount, the target date, the priority, each contribution you record, and — if you answer it — what you credit on the completion screen.

It also saves the display name you optionally enter on the profile screen, your sort preference, and whether you have dismissed the one-time prompts.

All of it lives in your browser’s local database (IndexedDB), on the device you are using. There is no account, no server-side copy, and no synchronisation between devices. Nothing you enter leaves your device.

Because it is local, clearing your browser data for this site deletes your goals permanently. There is no copy anywhere else for us to restore.

Nothing personal. Saving Pace has no account system and no server that receives your data.

No analytics are running today — this site loads no measurement script and sends no events. If anonymous usage analytics are added later, they will record only that an action happened — a goal was created, the simulator was opened, a plan was applied. They will never include goal names, amounts, or dates, they will set no cookies, and they will not identify you or track you across other sites.

Deleting a goal in the app removes that goal and everything attached to it, including its contribution history. Clearing this site’s data in your browser settings removes everything Saving Pace has stored.

Accounts and cloud sync are planned. This page will be updated to describe exactly what is stored on a server and why, before any of that ships.
